About
The study of Women of the Bible provides an in-depth examination of women who played a significant role in the stories of ancient Israel and the early Church. This review covers key women in both the Old and New Testament, including Eve, Sarah, Miriam, Ruth, Esther, Mary, Martha, and Mary Magdalene. Throughout this review, participants will explore the cultural, social, and historical contexts of each woman's life and the role she played in the overall narrative of the Bible. Participants will examine each woman's character, motivations, and actions, and consider how their stories might apply to contemporary Christian women. This review is designed to help participants develop a deeper understanding of the role of women in the Bible and encourage them to explore the ways in which women have impacted the development of Christianity. Participants will learn key skills in hermeneutics, exegesis, and critical thinking, as well as an appreciation for different interpretive perspectives. Prerequisites: None
